Each year the Super Summer Cruise car show in Branson, Missouri draws thousands of visitors. Whether you are interested in registering your car in the show, or just want to check out the amazing vehicles, you should check this event out. Of course, if you are not into cars, this is not the weekend to plan a Branson vacation. The streets will be packed with spectators, and local hotels are likely to be full to the brim with eager onlookers.
The 2009 Super Summer Cruise happens in early August, and features a number of popular events. The Midnight Cruise, made up of three miles of classic cars cruising through the Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Highway 76, is one of the biggest features of the event. It happens right on the stroke of midnight on Saturday, and is a lot of fun.
Of course, that isn’t all there is to the Super Summer Cruise car show. There are daily events open, featuring Branson area entertainers, at the Shepherd of the Hills Pavilion Theatre. The Stars in Cars Event is another fun choice. Starting on Thursday, and occurring again on Friday and Saturday, the Vehicle Show and Shine draws in a lot of visitors. Saturday evening, the Best In Show Awards occur at the Pavilion Theatre, and afterward, drivers are briefed for the Midnight Cruise.
