Buy your ticket(s) for the next day, and get in free until closing. You can look around, orient yourself and get in a few rides and shows. Even if the park shows closing as early as 6pm, there will be a show starting in the main amphitheater at that time and you can stay until it ends. If you like it, you can see it again the next night. Kind of like a coupon:
